Taylor Swift looks effortlessly chic as she enjoys a night out in NYC after Joe Alwyn split

Taylor Swift showed off her chic sense of style by stepping out for dinner in New York on Monday as she continues to move forward following her split from Joe Alwyn.

The Black Space hitmaker, 33, who recently split from the Stars At Noon actor after six years of dating, stayed positive and smiled as he stepped out in the Big Apple for a fun night out before resuming his Eras tour .

The singer-songwriter opted for stylish comfort and donned a brown short-sleeved shirt that she opted to leave partially unbuttoned at the top.

She tucked the fitted top into the waist of faded gray jeans that fell straight to her ankles.

Swift, who subtly revealed she was looking great to fans following her split, slipped into a pair of black ankle boots with chunky soles to add an edgy touch to the ensemble.

Taylor easily slung a black handbag over her right shoulder to hold a few items she needed during the night out.

Her blonde locks were pulled back into a simple ponytail, allowing her bangs to fall softly across her forehead.

She accessorized her outfit by wearing a flashy gold choker necklace as well as a pair of gold earrings that shimmered in the bright lights.

Swift opted for classic makeup as she stepped out in the bustling city and added a layer of mascara with a winged black liner to bring out her blue eyes.

For a bold twist to her ensemble, the Shake It Off singer added a red-orange matte shade to her lips.

The beauty was also recently spotted enjoying a night out in New York last week on Monday as she continues to move forward after news of her split from Joe Alwyn broke earlier this month.

Taylor further proved to her fans that she is okay post-breakup and gave a positive update as she performed on stage in Tampa as part of her Eras Tour earlier on Saturday.

At one point during the concert, a fan held up a sign that read, “Are you okay?”, which then prompted the award-winning singer to gently raise her hand to give a thumbs up.

A short clip that captured the special moment quickly spread across social media, leading fans to express their relief that Taylor had confirmed she was “fine”.

One social media user wrote, “That’s all I want to know! idc if they’re together,” while another added, “It’s so cute because be honest we’re all a little worried. Our daughter has a lot to do right now,” followed by a tearful emoji.

News of the split surfaced earlier this month, on April 8, shortly before Taylor traveled to Tampa, Florida to continue dates on her Eras tour.

A source at the time told Entertainment Tonight the couple had amicably parted ways and added, “It wasn’t dramatic.”

Shortly after the split was announced, a source opened up exclusively to DailyMail.com and revealed that their different career levels and stardom had been cause for the two to go their separate ways.

“The core of the difficulties in their relationship was that Taylor’s career took precedence over Joe’s – which can be awkward for a couple when it’s not balanced.”

“It separated them and eventually they both realized they weren’t on the same page anymore.”

“It’s been tough for Joe trying to make it in Hollywood and not become a top man while dating one of the most famous women in the world for the past six years,” added the initiated.

“It was easier during the pandemic when it was just the two of them, but once things got back to normal, superstar Taylor Swift emerged, and their differences were even more apparent.”

The source further said, “They really tried and tried everything they could but in the end couldn’t save the relationship.”

Taylor and the British-born star were confirmed to be dating in 2017 until their split earlier this month and, for the most part, kept their relationship out of the public eye.

Since the end of their relationship, the Grammy winner has focused and put her energy into continuing her Eras tour.

Later this week, starting Friday, April 21, she’ll headline Houston, with the concert series slated to conclude later this summer on August 9 in sunny Los Angeles.
