Salma Hayek attended the TIME 100 Gala, which took place at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City on Wednesday night.
The 56-year-old entertainer turned heads while rocking a particularly eye-catching outfit for the annual star affair.
The actress, who recently shared a shirtless photo of her Magic Mike’s Last Dance co-star Channing Tatum, was also pictured spending time with Kim Kardashian, who was also at the event.
Hayek wore a beautiful blue silk dress covered in black lace during the gala.
The Frida star’s skirt also featured plenty of sparkly sequins that gave her a little extra sparkle as she posed on the function’s red carpet.
The Oscar-nominated performer accessorized a silver clutch that went well with the dark tones of her outfit.
Her beautiful brown locks were left flowing and fell over her shoulders.
The performer shared a video on her Instagram account on Wednesday afternoon in which she showed off her outfit for the evening.
Like many other gala attendees, Hayek was named by Time as one of its 100 most influential people of 2023.
The artist’s longtime friend, Penelope Cruz, sat down for an interview with the media, during which she opened up about one of their first meetings.
“I hardly knew anyone in the United States, but she picked me up from the airport and took me to her place. Meeting her was like meeting a sister you hadn’t seen for a long time,” she recalls.
The actress, who starred with Hayek in the 2006 feature Bandidas, also praised her longtime friend for her acting skills.
“She is strong but sensitive, and she can read people very well. That’s what makes her a great actress, her ability to put herself in someone else’s shoes,” she said.
Cruz then said that the Eternals actress served as an inspiration for her own career.
“Her huge heart, great intelligence and charisma are a winning combination, but what I’m most proud of is that she’s always completely herself,” she said.
The actress concluded by explaining how Hayek was dedicated to both helping emerging talent and honing his craft.
“She opened so many doors for people who followed her. She’s a total revolutionary, and there’s still so much she’ll do,” she said.
