Pete Davidson sensed a Knicks fan got a little too close for comfort and let him know.
The former “Saturday Night Live” star, actor and spokesperson for Taco Bell was among many celebrities in Madison Square Garden to watch the Knicks take a 3-1 lead over the Cavaliers, winning 102-93 on Sunday after- noon.
Leaving the game, Davidson stayed for a while and took pictures with the fans.
As this was happening, a man in a pink polo shirt and Knicks hat slipped behind Davidson for some of these photos and hovered around him as the celeb interacted with other fans.
A video, posted by Twitter user “@ImClique_”, shows the man in the pink shirt putting his arm around Davidson and treating him like a close friend
Davidson, 29, didn’t like it, pushing the over-eager fan away, obviously insisting he back off.
The two men exchanged a few words, and the fan continued on its way.
Davidson continued to take pictures with fans, even flashing a peace sign in one.
During the game, Davidson sat with fellow comedian and now activist Jon Stewart, taking the Knicks to the brink of their first playoff victory in 10 years.
Davidson, who grew up in Staten Island, shot to fame as a cast member on SNL from 2014-22.
He recently had a nine-month relationship with Kim Kardashian which ended last August.
He is currently dating “Bodies Bodies Bodies” co-star Chase Sui Wonders.
