Janet Jackson celebrated her 57th birthday on Tuesday in style.
The All For You singer – who hung out with Tom Cruise earlier this week – wore a figure-hugging animal print mid-calf dress with chunky white trainers and huge gold hoop earrings.
Her raven hair was pulled up in a bun on top of her head and her makeup highlighted her glowing complexion.
She captioned the post, “Thank you all for all the beautiful birthday wishes. They all made this birthday extra special to me. Love you guys,” and added three heart-eye emojis.
Questlove, 52, hosted the Rhythm Nation singer’s party at the Divine Lorraine Hotel in Philadelphia.
She blew out the candles on her birthday cake, a delicious two-tiered strawberry shortcake with cream cheese frosting, then toasted her friends.
The cake had Happy Birthday Janet written in script and featured five tall, skinny red candles.
Janet’s sister Latoya Jackson commented on the Instagram post, “Happy Birthday Jan! Lots of love to you always,” and added several festive emojis.
Busta Rhymes expressed his wishes in all caps, writing, “HAPPY BDAY TO YOU BEAUTIFUL QUEEN ROYAL EMPRESS.”
Ludacris, Questlove, Big Boi and Bill Bellamy all left emojis to celebrate the Control singer.
The When I Think Of You hitmaker is currently on his Together Again Tour which kicked off April 14 and runs until June 21 with 38 stops.
The tour celebrates Janet’s 50 years in the entertainment industry as well as the 25th anniversary of her album The Velvet Rope and 30 years since Janet’s release.
And fans everywhere will get a behind-the-scenes look at her tour via a documentary titled Janet Jackson: Family First that’s in the works at A&E and Lifetime.
The new documentary follows last year’s Janet Jackson documentary, which received rave reviews.
“I have been touched by the love and support from the wonderful fans who have enjoyed the documentary over the past year,” Janet said in the press release announcing the documentary.
“I am thrilled to continue sharing my story and welcoming fans into my life and the Together Again Tour. Thank you for your endless support, and I hope you enjoy the next chapter.
The documentary will also feature a reunion of The Jacksons family band for the first time in 40 years.
