AEW Collision Results – June 24, 2023

Tony Schiavone is in the ring trying to get Sting and Darby Allin out so they can reveal their partner for Forbidden Door tomorrow. Chris Jericho is dating Minoru Suzuki instead. There is no Sammy Guevara to be found.

Chris Jericho tells Schiavone and everyone in the crowd to shut up. Jericho said he’s not from Toronto; he’s from Winnipeg, you idiots. Jericho says he’s in a bad mood because Sting and Darby kept them waiting to find out who their partner is. Jericho wants to know who they are going to have who is tougher than Suzuki.

Darby Allin tells Jericho to shut up, Allin says he knows Sammy isn’t here tonight, but if he shows up at Forbidden Door tomorrow and hangs out with Jericho and Suzuki, he’s gonna kick his ass… just like their partner kicked Jericho’s ass at the Tokyo Dome.

Jericho has a fit as Tetsuya Naito enters the stage. Suzuki doesn’t seem to be in tune with the announcement. Naito gets in the ring and looks at Jericho, which knocks The Ocho and Suzuki out of the ring.

We go backstage and hear Miro, he says he has been in exile for over a year but has finally been summoned. He said the coward finally spoke; he said he would become his favorite champion again. We’re back from a commercial break and Tony Schiavone is back in the ring featuring Christian Cage and TNT Champion Luchasaurus. Cage comes out carrying the TNT title on his shoulder. The Canadian crowd sings for Christian Cage.

Cage said he left Collision last week in a very bad mood, but knew that in a week he would be back in Toronto with the TNT Championship, but now he’s in a lesser mood. Cage said he can be brutally honest because he’s from here and said this town breeds losers and they’re okay with mediocrity, but that’s not the case.

He buries the Toronto Maple Leafs for being rebounded in the second round by the Florida Panthers. The crowd completely turned on Cage at this point. Cage takes credit for Kawhi Leonard leaving the Toronto Raptors.

Cage said there were no more open challenges for the TNT Championship and people had to win it. He sneakily shoots Cody Rhodes and said he would take the title to new heights and make it the most important title in All Elite Wrestling. Cage celebrates with the TNT title and Luchasaurus seems okay with it all.
